Samantha Haven – US Navy woman & her lost dog Rosie

When Samantha lost her dog, she never would have realized how hard it would have been to find Rosie (her adopted dog from a pet rescue from Fresno, CA).  Rosie was terrified, but caught after a long 10 day battle.  Rosie was taken in by a terrific family in Sprague, Washington.  Not only did this family take Rosie in, but they took time to get her to the vet for her injured paw.  The community of Sprague also held a fundraiser at a rest stop along I-90 to get the necessary money to fly Rosie home to Cleveland, Ohio.  Talk about a journey!  Our rescue would never turn down helping a member of the military or helping a scared dog.  We are very pleased to say Rosie is home with Sam‘s father in Cleveland while she is deployed.  Our hearts will miss Rosie, but we are so happy she is home with family.  Words will never be able to thank Ashley Lynn & her amazing family enough (I know I am missing several people) for their dedication, time, and devotion to help this dog get home.  For more information about this story, please check out our Facebook page.  We also have updates!  Thank you.
